Please find additional information on desert rose on this page.
A rose-like crystal group formed by precipitation in (usually) arid desert regions containing trapped sand particles. Usually selenite is the host mineral (other name often used is "gypsum rose"), but baryte ("baryte rose"), celestine and other minerals can form desert Rose groups too.
We do not have a web shop but please do not hesitate to contact us for any inquiry. We can always send images of pieces that are not displayed online.
Our showroom is open on mondays and thursdays from 9 to 18h. Feel free to drop in and admire the desert roses we keep in stock.
