Calcite is a relatively soft rock that is common and can be found in many colors. common and relatively soft stone. It belongs to the carbonates and is transparent or translucent with a glassy sheen. Species include orange calcite, yellow calcite, white calcite, blue calcite, green calcite, red calcite, mangano calcite and cobalto calcite. Pure bright calcite is also called double calcite because of the double refraction of the light. Grey or beige calcite with soft, round shapes is called fairy stone calcite.

Chakra calcite

Blue calcite acts on the throat chakra (5th), green calcite on the heart chakra (4th), honey calcite on the sacrum chakra (2nd) and the solar plexus chakra (3rd), yellow calcite on the solar plexus chakra (3rd), orange calcite on the sacrum chakra (2nd), red calcite on the base chakra (1st) and mangano calcite on the heart chakra (4th).

Calcite is found in many different places in the world. Famous countries where many agates are found are Poland, Germany and Brazil.
